For more than 150 years French local authorities have entrusted the men and women of Veolia Water/Générale des Eaux (the name Veolia Water trades under in France) to provide their local communities with high quality water and wastewater services within the framework of an outsourced management contract.
Today in France Veolia Water/Générale des Eaux is able to provide municipal, domestic and industrial customers with its expertise and technological solutions in the water sector thanks to the skills of its different subsidiaries (OTV, SADE etc.). Its decentralized organization and its 28,000 employees enable it to work as close as possible to their needs and to provide an efficient and flexible service.
Working in partnership with more than 8,000 local authorities, Veolia Eau provides customers with a flexible and local organizational structure and is able to guarantee customers an optimal quality service. Divided into eleven regional areas, they co-ordinate human resources, expertise and repair and maintenance work, and are always working with customers to improve service levels.On a more local level, 136 offices and 11 customer service centers provide assistance to customers. "Générale des Eaux Direct" provides easy access for customers for all information concerning their water bills or the quality of the water supply.
