The film "8"
Eight stories for the eight Millennium Development Goals. The aim of these eight goals, which have been adopted by 191 governments, is to reduce poverty in the world by half by 2015. Eight film makers have a free hand to deal with one of the goals. Jane Campion with The Water Diary promotes the seventh goal: ensure environmental sustainability.
With backing from Veolia Environnement and Veolia Water, this film supports Veolia's constant concern of preserving natural resources and encouraging access to water for all.
