The water box

Veolia Water provides schools with the water box, aimed primarily at children aged between 9 to 11 years within its many designated supply areas.

 

Since 1995, Veolia Water has distributed more than 20,000 water boxes in around twenty countries (UK, Germany, Morocco, France, USA...).

The child at the heart of the action

In addition to the educational and enjoyable series of experiments, it is also a cross-curricular educational tool on water.

Science and Technology, History, Geography, Citizenship, Literature, Craft, Design & Technology... Its scope is both varied and extensive. Pupils will want to learn, as they enjoy carrying out the fun activities.

The child is at the heart of the action. Pupils will learn in a pro-active manner core information about water using a truly scientific approach.

They also learn that freshwater is not equally distributed throughout the world and how they can act in an environmentally friendly manner. They learn that water is a rare, fragile and essential resource that we need to conserve and share.
