Simplified Procedures to Make Life Easier for Customers

Domestic consumers basically want simplified administrative procedures when it comes to registering or deregistering as a customer, making appointments or billing. Veolia Water has therefore been working for several years on initiatives that aim to make all water customer transactions easier and smoother to carry out.

In France - A customer registration and deregistration service based on trust.

This service ensures there is no interruption to the domestic water supply in the event of a change of occupancy.
Once you have moved in, it only takes one telephone call to Veolia Water and a welcome pack will then be sent out.
This call automatically leads to the previous occupant's account being cancelled.
When moving out, the customer simply gives his meter reading over the telephone to Veolia Water, thereby activating the deregistration process.

In China - a text message information service

Thanks to this system, launched in 2006, customers can receive information by text message with regard to their accounts (reminders, statements) as well as general warning alerts (in the event of an incident affecting the supply network) and personalized messages (overconsumption).
This system allows for prompt and efficient communication with consumers.
In addition, it considerably reduces the amount of paper that needs to be used.
