Veolia Water endeavours to put in place solutions and personalized services for people with disabilities.
Personalized Services for People with Disabilities
Bills in Braille in France
Since 2002, Veolia Water has worked in partnership with the association "Donne-moi tes yeux" (Give Me Your Eyes). As a result, any customer, who so desires, can request that all the documents he receives be translated into Braille, such as bills, information leaflets or customer files.
This measure has proved to be a great help in making life easier for the visually impaired. This service is provided free of charge to customers and can simply be requested over the telephone or via the Veolia Water website (www.veoliaeau.fr).
A Wide Range of Initiatives in Great Britain
The British subsidiary of Veolia Water, Three Valleys Water, deploys numerous solutions for people with special needs. As a result, documents and bills can be provided in large writing or in Braille on request. Those people who are hard of hearing can communicate with the company thanks to telephones equipped with keyboards called Minicoms. Finally, working with various charities, 30,000 calendars are sent out each year containing messages on how to prevent accidents in the home. (www.3valleyswater.co.uk).
