Veolia Apa Veolia Water in Romania

 

Veolia Apa has been operating in Romania since 2000 when it was awarded its first water and wastewater concessions in the country for the cities of Bucharest and Ploiesti.

These contracts also made provision for investments such as the new water treatment plant at Crivina-Ogrezeni. This plant which is now running was designed and commissioned by OTV Romania, a subsidiary of Veolia Water Solutions & technologies.

Veolia Apa also builds and rehabilitates the wastewater network via its subsidiary SADE.

Save snowmen

On the occasion of the world environment day on June 5, Apa Nova Bucuresti, a Veolia Water subsidiary in Romania, built snowmen... made of sand in the most visited crossroads of the city ! This operation aimed at raising Bucharest inhabitants' awareness about the climate changes issue and its consequences in their daily life.

"Best Customer Service" award for Apa Nova Ploiesti in Romania

Apa Nova Ploiesti, one of Veolia Apa's subsidiaries in Romania, received an award for the quality of its services to consumers. The company's call centre won the European final of the "Contact Center World Awards" in London for the Best Customer Service category.
