Members of the Executive board of Veolia Water

Antoine Frérot

Chief Executive Officer

Born in 1958, a graduate from the École Polytechnique (1977 class) and PhD in Civil Engineering from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Antoine Frérot started his career in 1981 as a research engineer at the Bureau Central d'Études pour l'Outre-Mer. In 1983 he joined the Research centre at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées as project manager before becoming deputy director from 1984 to 1988. From 1988 to 1990 he was Head of Financial Operations at the Crédit National. He joined the Générale des Eaux in 1990 as attaché to the managing director of CGEA, then managing director. In 2000 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Transportation, Veolia Environnement's Transport Division and member of the Veolia Environnement Board of Directors. On 21 January 2003 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Water, the Water Division of Veolia Environnement, and Executive Vice President of Veolia Environnement, member of the management board.

Régis Calmels

Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Asia

Born in 1955, an engineer from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (class of 77), Régis Calmels joined Veolia Eau in January 1979. Successively an engineer at Arras, head of the Source du Lez worksite at Montpellier, head of the Eastern sector of the Générale des Eaux Centre-Sud Ouest region, then the Brie sector, and Méditerranéenne des Eaux, Régis Calmels has been running Veolia Water's international subsidiaries since 1995 (Houston, Philippines, Singapore). Since the end of 1999 he has been Managing Director of Veolia Water Asia.

Philippe Guitard

Executive Vice President in charge of Europe

Born in 1960, Engineer of Polytech´ Montpellier (graduated in 1984), Philippe Guitard started his career as a projects engineer-head of industrial water in SOGEA (CGE group) in 1984. Successively an operations engineer in Bergerac, later a head of branches in Mandelieu La Napouleand Cagnes sur Mer in the Water and ozone supply company, Philippe Guitard joins the Compagnie Générale des Eaux in 1995 as a Regional Director in Ponce (Puerto Rico). In 1997 he goes to the Czech republic as a Director of the Vodarna Plzen subsidiary. In 1999 he is appointed Managing director of Veolia Water for the Czech Republic and in 2002 Managing director of Veolia Water for Central Europe and Russia.

On 15/04/2008 he is appointed Director of Veolia Eau for Europe (except for France).

Patrice Fonlladosa

Executive Vice President in charge of Africa, Middle East and India

Born in 1960, graduate from the Institut Français de Gestion, Patrice Fonlladosa started his career in 1982 as finance and administration manager at Bouygues TP International. In 1994 he joined the Veolia Environnement Group. Attaché to the Financial department of Veolia Transport, then executive director, Patrice Fonlladosa joined Veolia Water in March 2003 and is now in charge of Veolia Water AMI, the Veolia Water subsidiary operating water, wastewater and electricity services in Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.

Laurent Auguste

Executive Vice President in charge of the Americas

Born in 1967, a graduate from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (1991 class), Laurent Auguste started his career in 1991 as consultant at Japan in Time Experts at Tokyo. He joined the Générale des Eaux in 1995 at the agency of Bethune as assistant manager and then from 1997 as manager. In 1999 he became business development manager for Southern China, Korea and Japan. In 1999 he took over the management of the Korea subsidiary and the management of the Japan subsidiary in 2002. In 2008, he is appointed manager of the American continent and member of the Executive Committee of Veolia Water.

Olivier Grunberg

Senior Executive Vice President - Financial Director and General Secretary

Born in 1958, a graduate from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and from the Ecole Nationale d'Administration, Olivier Grunberg started his career in 1987 at the French Ministry of Finance, Budget department. From 1991 to 1993, he was attaché to the financial director of Rhône-Poulenc and deputy to the group's management control director. From 1993 to 1995, Olivier Grunberg was adviser in charge of the Budget, within the Prime Minister's cabinet, then head of the Transport-Roads office in the Budget department at the Ministry of Finance, and director of the Minister's cabinet in 1997. In 1997 Olivier Grunberg joined the Générale des Eaux as financial director France, then deputy managing director Economy Performance and Information Systems. He has been Financial Director at Veolia Water since September 1999 and Deputy Managing Director since June 2003.

Louis Herremans

Executive Vice President - Technical Director

Born in 1953, engineer from Travaux Publics de l'Etat, Louis Herremans started his career in 1977 as sub-divisional engineer at Seine-et-Marne DDE. In 1981, he joined Val-de-Marne DDE in the capacity of head of the subdivision on general studies within the Water and Sanitation division. From 1984 to 1989 he took charge of studies linked to investments by Ile-de-France authorities in terms of sanitation within the Seine-Normandie Water Board. He joined the company in 1989 as project manager within Anjou-Recherche and initiated research activities linked to rainwater. After different positions within Anjou-Recherche, he was managing director from 1998 to 2001. He then moved to the Paris Suburbs Region as technical manager, and was appointed Technical Director at Veolia Water in September 2003.

Jean-Michel Herrewyn

Executive Vice President - CEO Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies

Born in 1961, a graduate from the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale d'Administration, Jean-Michel Herrewyn started his career in 1986 as an engineer in the Avionics division of Thomson CSF. In 1991 he joined the Compagnie Générale de Chauffe (now Dalkia) as technical manager then general manager of the home automation subsidiary. In 1993 he became attaché to the managing director and in 1996 ran Dalkia's German subsidiary and later subsidiaries in Austria and Switzerland. At the beginning of 2000 he was also appointed general manager of Veolia Transport's German subsidiary, and also supervised developments in Austria and Switzerland. In 2000 he was appointed chairman of Valorec, a joint subsidiary of Dalkia and Veolia Environmental Services, created from the outsourcing of energy and waste management by Novartis plants in Basle (Switzerland). In March 2003 he joined Veolia Water as Managing Director of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies.

Dominique Bouillot

Chief Executive Officer Sade

Born in 1954, a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique (1973 class), civil engineer from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (1978 class), Dominique Bouillot started his career in 1978 as a civil engineer at Sade Nice. In 1980, he became Manager for the Irrigation Project of Galmi (Niger Republic) and Manager of the Tunisian office in 1983. After having worked at the « Service des Travaux Speciaux », he was appointed in 1991, Director of the Paris Aera and promoted Deputy Managing Director in 1996. In 2000, he took in charge the International Department and joined the Management Board. In 2007, he was appointed Managing Director and then Chief Executive Officer.

Jean-Marie Lambert

Executive Vice President - Human Resources Director

Born in 1957, after obtaining a history degree, he graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. Jean-Marie Lambert's professional career has always been in the field of human resources. From 1981 to 1984 he was Deputy Personnel Director at Soderm (Philips group), then head of recruitment for the electricity and nuclear division from 1984 to 1986. He then held the job of head of the personnel management department in the service industry division at Spie Batignolles. In 1990 he joined the SGE group which then became Vinci, where he was successively head of the employment and human resources service at Sogea, director of human resources at Campenon Bernard, then Vinci Construction. In February 2003 Jean-Marie Lambert was appointed as Director for Human Resources at Veolia Water.

Dinah Louda

Executive Vice President - Communications Director

Dinah Louda graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and she holds a Masters in Political Science from Harvard. She began her career as a journalist and was in particular from 1983 to 1991 the French correspondent for Business International (The Economist Group). In 1991, Dinah Louda joined the Victoire insurance group (now Aviva) as Director for European Communications. From 1993 to 2002 she served as Director of Communications for Abeille Assurances and was then appointed Director of Communications for Crédit Agricole Indosuez. In October 2004 Dinah Louda became Senior Vice President of Areva T&D (Transmission and Distribution) and Deputy Senior Vice President Communications of Areva. In April 2006, she was appointed Executive Vice President - Communications Director and member of the Executive Committee of Veolia Water.

Marc Reneaume

Senior Executive Vice President - Director France

Born in 1956, Marc Reneaume is a horticultural engineer. He joined Veolia Water in 1982 as head of department at Anjou-Recherche. In 1985 he was involved in setting up the company's agronomics division (Angibaud, Derome, Sede) and joined the Commercial Division of Veolia Water. In 1990 he took over the management of Grandjouan-Veolia Environmental Services, where he became CEO in 1993, and entered FNADE (Fédération Nationale des Activités de la Dépollution et de l'Environnement) of which he was elected Chairman in 1998. In 2000 he was appointed Vice-Chairman of the FCC Group in Madrid, an office that he held until September 2004. In January 2005 he joined the management team of Veolia Water and took charge of the company's French activities in July 2005.

Malika Ghendouri

Malika Ghendouri

General Counsel

Malika Ghendouri, an internatinal business lawyer, started her career with Alcatel Alsthom. En 1996, she joined Veolia Water as Head of the International Legal Department, a position she held until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, she was Deputy Legal Director at Veolia Water. Malika Ghendouri was appointed Director of Contracts and Risks in February 2008 and member of the Executive Committee.
