Veolia Wasser

Operating in Germany since 1991, Veolia Wasser currently operates outsourcing contracts for more than 450 public authorities in ten of the Länder including Berlin.

Veolia Wasser is although environmental service operator, comprising water, wastewater, waste management, district heating, gas, public lighting and traffic signalling) for the cities of Görlitz and Weißwasser ( Saxony), and for Braunschweig (Lower Saxony).

A partner of the Berlin Kompetenzzentrum Wasser, an international research center in water, Veolia Wasser also provides a comprehensive range of technological solutions for use in the water services sector via its subsidiary Veolia Water Systems Germany.

By the end of 2004, via Veolia Wasser Deutschland, Veolia Environnement had become the operating company and major shareholder of "Braunschweiger Versorgungs-AG" (BV-AG), the company providing environmental services to Braunschweig (Lower Saxony).

In addition, numerous German industrial customers have awarded Veolia Wasser contracts to upgrade and/or operate their water treatment facilities (process water, effluents, etc.).

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies designs and builds water treatment works for municipalities and industry. It offers a complete range of technological solutions based on in-house processes and including equipment, modular systems and associated services that meet the water treatment requirements of its municipal and industrial clients.
