Veolia Viz has been operating in Hungary since 1994, and has since become the leading company for the outsourced management of water services.

Since 1997 Veolia Viz has been a partner in managing the largest wastewater company in the country which is located in the Budapest area. In 2004 it was awarded the wastewater service contract for the town of Salgótarján. In addition, it was awarded the contract for the water and wastewater services for the Erd region. As part of a consortium, Veolia Viz is also in charge of the design and build of a new wastewater treatment plant in Budapest.

Veolia Viz also provides industrial outsourcing services in Hungary (food and beverages industry, chemicals industry) and develops design/build activities for water treatment or wastewater treatment plants via its subsidiary OTV Magyarország and the construction or maintenance of various networks and related facilities via its subsidiary SADE Magyarország.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies designs and builds water treatment works for municipalities and industry. It offers a complete range of technological solutions based on in-house processes and including equipment, modular systems and associated services that meet the water treatment requirements of its municipal and industrial clients.
