Proxiserve serves more than 500,000 private customers for close on five million housing units.

The Proxiserve group, a subsidiary of Veolia Eau and Dalkia, operates in France and Belgium in the services sector:

SEDE Environnement

Agricultural recycling of wastewater sludge

SEDE Environnement, a subsidiary of Veolia Eau and Veolia Environmental Services, brings together Veolia Environnement's expertise in sludge management in France, Benelux and Ireland.

The subsidiary is in charge of developing multi-process solutions to meet all requirements in sludge disposal while complying with all local regulations on waste disposal.

In order to dispose of sludge once the wastewater treatment process has been completed, SEDE Environnement uses the technologies developed and provided by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies/OTV.

In this way, it is able to meet the requirements of local authorities and industrial clients, while providing the best balance possible between safety, cost and sustainability.

All these solutions are structured around a basic concept:

  • minimizing the quantities produced;
  • and maximizing safety while reducing olfactory pollution often associated with the production and handling of sludge.

SIDEF

Effluent Treatment Service for Industrial Clients

SIDEF is a joint subsidiary of the water and waste sectors within the Veolia Environnement Group.

It brings together the skills of Veolia Water - experts in operating water and wastewater systems - and SARP Industries (Veolia Environmental Services), specialist in the treatment and recovery of effluent and hazardous industrial waste. SIDEF is a new company tailored to treat low-contamination industrial effluent.
