Repairing the water supply system in Meulaboh

Damaged by the earthquake, emergency facilities need to be built in order to re-establish the water supply system for the town of Meulaboh.

The earthquake seriously damaged all water production facilities in the town of Meulaboh as well as damaging its water supply network.

Veolia WaterForce's experts installed emergency water facilities to supply the local community with drinking water before working to repair the damage.

Their efforts proved to be successful in that possible risks such as epidemics (cholera, dysentery, etc.) associated with a lack of clean drinking water seem to have been avoided.
